Anger + self-discipline = crack for achieving your goals

Shortly after my adhd and asd diagnosis in 2023, I became acutely aware of my anger and felt it building in me like I’d never experienced before. I also began to externalize my anger like never before either. I realized, men do not develop autoimmune diseases at nearly the same rate as women because they externalize their anger. At this same time, I was on medical leave for clinical burn out. Under thirty and on medical leave for clinical burn out? what the FUCK. I was sick of being sick and began sticking up for myself VORACIOUSLY.

Note that Desire and Anger, is the bridge from Fear and Grief to Pride, Courage, and eventually Neutrality.
I’d highly recommend David Hawkins, Map of Consciousness

I became, still am, quite confrontational. I stopped prioritizing other people’s comfort, and instead felt a deep seated seething for the times I self-sacrificed and allowed myself to be walked all over for the sake of another person’s… what exactly? Thats some bullshit.

Instead of feeling anxiety or dread at the mere thought of confrontation, I just feel rage and have zero issue calling out the problem in real time. No nervousness, no anxiety, just a deep sense of, I’m gonna protect myself and I will fuck you up if that’s necessary.

Being that I spent much of my twenties in the expressions of grief, apathy, even shame after the passing of my brother, I vehemently believe tapping into anger is was what moved me out of self-victimization, to higher levels of self-efficacy. I attribute much of my present life success to shift in my energy and.I would encourage everyone, but particularly women, to learn to access and express this anger.
